The Haitian Student Earthquake Victims
are suffering and everyday we received
calls from students asking for help to
go study else where. We have contacted
some Prime Minister and officials abroad
to open doors for the Haitian Students
for a period of time and we haven't got
answer to allow them to continue their
education.
Our Haitian students are not looking for
work, they just need some country, some
people to provide an approval petition.
This is a rare circumstances but please
do somebody give them the opportunity to
rebuilt. They are the new generation.

PLAN & STRATEGIES
FOR EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS
FONDESCH organization will be
sending more Help to Aid Haiti
Earthquake survivors.
Haiti powerful earthquake in the south
and the western of Haiti killed at least
220,000 people as of April 22, 2010 and
left many others buried under debris.
FONDESCH jointly delivered aid, food and
health to the severely drought-affected
communities of Leogane, Merger,
Citronnier and Marigot. As disasters
struck in Haiti
FONDESCH emergency
relief workers sprung into action and
mobilizing lifesaving medical supplies
and other humanitarian supplies.
We are now working in partnership with
Aunty
Kim’s Children
Foundation of California and Missionary
on a Dime of Tennessee to assist orphans
and other women’s groups to provide
basic necessities in coordination with
other international partners.
There are more questions for women
health concerns, from hygiene needs to
life threatening complications related
to childbirth and pregnancy. We have
visited a camp on April 20th in Central
Zone of Merger located about twenty
eight miles from Port-au-Prince. It is
so sad to see that people are still
waiting for assistance to arrive there.
The camp has about
466 families including children and
there are issues and concerns such as:
· Medical attention
· No educational plans and services
· Children are playing around without
supervision
· Waiting for food and clean water.
· Many schools are destroyed during the
earthquake and the community is not
ready to rebuild or to reopen schools in
the area.
· The psychological impact on the
youngest.
· Some others felt abandoned for life
because they cannot see the future
ahead.
The area has only a Jehovah church, a
public school, and two other Christian
churches near the camp. It is so sad
to hear the voice of a young
lady who testified that it is
over for her career development
and for other young children in
this area with tears in her
eyes. She stated that she is
living in this camp since
January 13 after the earthquake
without her mother and father
who died during the incident.
She is not sure how the future
will be.
She and her two other
friends in the Central Zone of Merger
are completed their middle and high
school and because of the earthquake she
stated: they were forced to stay in this
camp. My dream is dead she said with
more tears in her eyes.
FONDESCH is asking to
send more response teams and ask its
partners to provide humanitarian
disaster relief to the camp in Merger
says William Destin the Executive
Director of FONDESCH
and ready to have
“Medicines, medical supplies and
humanitarian ready for delivery.
Furthermore,
natural disasters increase the
existing challenges of
responding to issues. We are
asking doctor’s office, hospital
and other companies to send
volunteers in order to provide
basic necessities and assistance
to this camp in Merger. We need
delivery kits, medical tents,
large size tents for schools,
sanitary cloths and other items,
flash lights, soap and basic
hygiene supplies and other
medical supplies to support the
local doctors in Merger.
